2010 - the candy bar that started it all
Sweet Talk Designs was born in 2010 while I was planning my own wedding. Somewhere between designing the details and tackling one DIY project after another, I realized two things: I had a knack for creating things people loved - and I absolutely loved doing it.
So, in the early days of Etsy, I opened a little shop of my own.
Back then, Sweet Talk looked pretty different. I started by creating candy bar buffet tables and personalized signage, which eventually led to paper goods, stickers, party favors and more. Along the way, I taught myself graphic design and discovered a particular love for typography. To this day, finding just the right font - and the perfect pairing - is one of my favorite parts of the design process.
Sixteen years later, I'm still creating, just with a few more products in the mix.

SWEET TALK, TODAY
As Sweet Talk evolved, I found my niche in Survival Kits, small, thoughtfully curated kits designed for life's celebrations, emergencies and everything-in-between moments. Wedding days, game days, teachers, holidays, big nights out...there always seems to be an occasion that could use a cute little backup plan.
And because I apparently can't leave a good design alone, those ideas have a habit of finding their way onto other things, too.
Today, you'll find Survival Kits front and center, with party pretties, handcrafted favors and cute apparel joining the mix, and plenty more ideas waiting in the wings.

HI, I'M LINDSEY
Behind Sweet Talk Designs is me- a one-woman shop, designer, maker and mom to three busy girls.
When I'm not designing, creating new products or packing orders, I'm usually keeping up with my girls, and now our newest little sidekick, Graham, our Maltipoo puppy. ♡
I genuinely love taking an idea and turning it into something that's useful, giftable, funny, pretty, and most importantly, worth talking about.
That's what Sweet Talk has always been about: thoughtful details, playful designs and a little something unexpected.
